Are you an experienced data scientist or computational biologist eager to build something from the ground up? At Solid IO, we are developing human-based diagnostics and we need your help.
We are looking for a talented data professional to join us early. You will design and run our data infrastructure, build pipelines for complex biomedical datasets, and apply computational and machine learning approaches that turn data into actionable insights. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to set the foundation for long-term growth.
Lead data strategy and infrastructure development for managing multi-modal biomedical datasets
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for preprocessing, integration, and storage
Analyze high-dimensional biological data and support development of predictive models
Collaborate with wet-lab scientists to ensure high-quality data capture
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards
PhD or MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience working with large-scale biological data
Strong programming skills (Python, R; experience with relevant analysis frameworks)
Familiarity with clinical datasets and ethical data handling practices
Experience in advanced biological data analysis. Single-cell or spatial data expertise is a strong plus but not required
Track record of applying computational or machine learning approaches to biological problems
Background in oncology, immunology, or translational medicine
