As we continue to grow we are now looking for a Finance Specialist to join our team to support our financial operations. As our new Finance Specialist you will provide financial guidance, manage the daily financial operations and support in decision-making processes.
We are looking for someone who is ready to take responsibility in administration in co-operation with our management team and external accounting partner.
Key responsibilities:
Daily financial administration
Manage daily financial tasks, including purchase and sales invoices as well as bank reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns in cooperation with the external accountant and/or auditor
Assist with salary bookkeeping in cooperation with our external payroll provider.
Active stakeholder cooperation (accountant, banks, tax authorities, insurance companies)
Support related to contracts, expenses, and administrative tasks
Collaboration with management and other teams to support decision-making
Reporting and Monitoring
Producing monthly reports and financial monitoring for management team
Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
Participation in budgeting and forecasting
Participation in profitability and cost analyses
Preparation and reconciliation of accounts for potential future subsidiaries as Draivi continues to expand internationally
This position is a hands-on financial role but depending on your experience and interest towards more strategic tasks this role can also include development and digitalization of our financial administration processes (e.g., automation or reporting tools) or development of our internal accounting like project tracking, unit costing and KPI metrics development.
Qualifications for the role :
Proven financial administration experience (at least 2+ years)
Strong knowledge and experience about financial principles, practices, and regulations
Proficient user of Procountor or similar software
Analytical and good problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Precise and careful way of working
Fluency both in Finnish and English
