We're looking for a Product Design Manager in Helsinki to lead and inspire our close-knit team of highly skilled senior product designers!

You'll be a crucial part of shaping our product's future, ensuring we create innovative user experiences that are both beautiful and joyous.

We need someone who leads with empathy, encourages creativity, and creates an environment where designers can thrive. More than anything, we're looking for someone who genuinely supports their team and knows how to help them grow.

In this role, you'll…

• Inspire and empower: Guide and mentor a small team of senior/lead designers, helping them grow and do their best work. We believe in creating a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone is valued and can shine.
• Own platform experience: I oversee the user experience of our marketing intelligence platform, ensuring we deliver high-quality output that exceeds industry standards.
• Develop product vision: Work closely with product management and engineering to define the product vision and strategy, ensuring design is prioritized in everything we do.
• Be the voice of the customer: Prioritize user needs and ensure they're at the heart of all our design decisions.
• Make things work (better): We value how we work just as much as what we create. Your work will also include parts of design operations: improving processes, tools, and workflows to make life easier for your team and ensure we deliver high-quality work efficiently.
• Be hands-on (when it counts): While your main focus will be on leading and empowering the team, you're motivated to jump in and offer guidance, feedback, or even a little hands-on design work when the moment calls for it.
• Build bridges: Collaborate with teams across the company, like product management, engineering, marketing, and customer support.
• Stay curious: Keep up with the latest design trends and technologies, and always look for new ways to innovate.

This position is for you if you have…

• Leadership with heart: You have at least 2 years of experience leading and mentoring design teams and genuinely care about helping people grow and develop. You understand that a happy team is a productive team.
• Design chops: You've got 9+ years of experience in product design and a comprehensive portfolio that shows how your work has solved real user problems in beautiful, intuitive ways.
• Deep appreciation for quality: You have a keen sense of visual aesthetics and know that true quality lies in the details. You have a background in graphic or visual design.
• Design ops know-how: You're familiar with design systems, workflows, and the processes that make teams run smoothly. You're always looking for ways to make things better and more efficient.
• Strategic vision: You can connect the dots between business goals and design solutions that deliver tangible results.
• Customer focus: You're committed to understanding our users and creating intuitive, delightful experiences that solve their problems.
• Communication skills: You can clearly explain your design decisions and rationale to anyone, from your team to stakeholders across the company
