The Role

We’re seeking a senior/skilled Frontend Engineer to build the next generation of mobile apps (React Native) and web frontends (React) - including our Club Admin portal and other internal/external tools. You’ll take ownership from idea to production, shape architecture, and ship polished experiences used by golfers and club staff across markets.

Work setup: This role is office-first in Ry, Denmark. You’ll work primarily from our Ry office, with flexibility for occasional home working when needed.

What you’ll do

Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps in React Native
Develop web frontends for Club Admin and related products using React
Write clean, testable code in TypeScript (with modern JS/ES6+) and CSS
Apply and advocate scalable architecture & design patterns
Implement unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
Lead and participate in code reviews and raise the bar for best practices
Contribute to CI/CD for smooth, reliable releases
Scope features end-to-end and delivers autonomously
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers

What you bring

5+ years of professional experience with React Native and React (web)
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and CSS
Proven track record applying design patterns at scale
Hands-on experience with testing (unit + integration)
Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and bring fresh ideas
Clear communication and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

Experience with native modules (Android/iOS)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
Performance optimization for mobile and web
Exposure to hardware/IoT or access-control integrations
