At NKP | M&A Insights, we equip top-tier private equity funds, M&A advisory firms, and other key stakeholders with the intelligence they need to close successful deals across Europe. As we expand our coverage and client base, we’re looking for a sharp, ambitious Associate to strengthen our core operational and client-facing team.

In this role, you will dive into live M&A markets, research high-potential companies, analyze deals, and engage directly with senior decision-makers — from fund partners to founders — in a highly international setting.

What you'll do

• Curate and prepare our daily intelligence feed for specific markets and industry segments.

• Research, analyze, and write M&A case studies by combining direct dialogue with investors, company owners, and advisory firms with thorough desk research.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and other key M&A stakeholders.

• Identify, approach, and engage company owners to develop new cases.

• Contribute to sales meetings, presentations, and other business development initiatives.

• Take on ad-hoc research and administrative projects to support our fast-growing team.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, finance, or economics.

• 0–2 years of professional experience — recent graduates welcome.

• Exceptional communication skills and professional fluency in English (English as mother tongue or bilingual would be an advantage but not a requirement)

• Sharp attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.

• Ability to think on your feet and work with high energy in a fast-paced environment.

• Genuine and documented interest in M&A, private equity, and the wider corporate finance landscape (can be academic and/or professional e.g. previous internships or student jobs)
