Sales and Partnership Lead

Salary €3,200 - €3,500

We are looking for a mission-driven Sales & Partnerships Lead to drive revenue generation, develop long-term relationships with stakeholders, and strengthen our position as a trusted partner for impactful projects in Finland. This is a role where you can really make a big difference in making Finland more diverse and inclusive for international talents!

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Partnerships

  • Lead commercial sales efforts of The Shortcut Academy's programs, our attitude change campaign and partnerships with both private companies and public entities like cities and municipalities

  • Identify and develop new revenue channels aligned with the organisation’s mission.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders across private, public, and non-profit sectors.

Public Funding & Administration

  • Drive fundraising initiatives with the public sector, including proposal preparation and grant applications.

  • Manage reporting, compliance and administrative tasks related to public funding requirements.

Strategy, Mentorship & Operations

  • Further develop and optimise the organisation’s sales processes, tools, and strategies.

  • Participate in teaching and mentoring others, e.g. sharing your knowledge by delivering some of our sales related workshops as part of our programs

  • Monitor performance, budgets, and KPIs for revenue-generating activities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, fundraising, and/or partnerships.

  • Strong track record of developing and closing commercial opportunities.

  • Understanding of public funding processes in Finland and related reporting requirements.

  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution ability.

  • Great and positive team player and connection builder.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (B2 Finnish and/or Swedish levels would be amazing - BUT more important than those is knowing the local culture: you are a natural change ambassador and ready to negotiate also in sectors that might still be used to work mainly in local languages. That’s where we need your help in changing things 💪 And it’s a bonus if you know how to sing SuomiPop in karaoke! 😜)

  • Existing networks in the Finnish business and municipality ecosystems are a plus

We offer

  • A supportive, learning-packed environment where you can really grow and where you have a chance to shape this role

  • Access to networking opportunities at the center of Finland’s startup ecosystem

  • Meaningful work with a purpose: our mission is to support people towards jobs or entrepreneurship and you will be pivotal in this role ensuring our operations keep on rolling
