We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Strategy to help shape the trajectory of one of the world’s most ambitious quantum companies.

This is not a “deck factory” role. You’ll be embedded at the core of our decision-making — working closely with our executive team to chart IQM’s long-term direction, assess new market plays, lead strategic initiatives, and support high-stakes partnerships, capital markets activity, and M&A.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit, high-impact strategy function that combines rigorous analysis with bold thinking, and a strong bias for action. This is an individual contributor role with executive-level visibility and the opportunity to drive initiatives that truly move the needle.

What will I be doing?

• Lead IQM’s strategic planning process - identify growth levers, challenge assumptions, and turn insights into action
• Drive corporate development work: from sourcing partnerships and M&A targets to running diligence, shaping deal structures, and managing integrations
• Partner with leadership on strategic projects that cut across product, commercial, and R&D
• Support capital markets and investor relation efforts - develop narratives, prep materials, and engage with key external stakeholders
• Serve as a trusted thought partner to IQM’s leadership, helping to align teams and catalyse strategic change

What skills do I need?

• 7–10 years of experience in strategy, M&A, investment banking, VC/PE, or top-tier consulting
• Proven ability to solve complex problems, synthesize ambiguity, and influence senior stakeholders
• Hands-on experience in corporate transactions and investor-facing strategy
• Deep tech exposure (quantum, HPC, semiconductors, or adjacent verticals) is a strong plus
• Curiosity, grit, and a willingness to dive deep into unfamiliar terrain
