Exciting Opportunity in a PropTech Start-Up

As Junior CPO/CTO, you will take the lead in developing our MVP and guiding the evolution of our product strategy. Working closely with the founding team, you will help refine the product roadmap, build and lead technical teams, and ensure successful execution of our technology vision. We are looking for someone who thrives in an early-stage environment, embraces hands-on technical leadership, and has a genuine passion for innovation in PropTech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MVP Development: Oversee the end-to-end development of our Minimum Viable Product — from concept to launch — ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.

  • Technical Leadership: Be actively involved in development, particularly during early phases, while shaping and leading the company’s overall technology strategy. Build and lead a small engineering team as the company scales.

  • Product Roadmap Execution: Collaborate with the founding team to refine and execute the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features and iterations.

  • Innovation & Differentiation: Identify opportunities for technical innovation within PropTech to ensure our platform stands out.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business, marketing, and operations teams to ensure technical efforts align with the overall company strategy.

  • Scalability: Ensure the platform is scalable and adaptable for future growth. Make sound architectural and infrastructure decisions to support long-term expansion.

  • Vendor Management: Identify and coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers as needed to support development and maintenance.

  • Technology Budgeting: Manage the technology budget, including tools, infrastructure, and hiring needs, with a focus on efficient resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Solid technical background with hands-on experience in full-stack development, software architecture, and scalable solution design. Knowledge of PropTech technologies is a plus.

  • Product Leadership: Experience working with product roadmaps, user experience, and balancing feature development with technical feasibility.

  • Hands-On Development: Willingness and ability to be hands-on in coding, especially in the MVP stage.

  • Startup Mentality: Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly.

  • Leadership Potential: Ability to lead a team (or strong potential to grow into a leadership role) with a collaborative and outcome-driven mindset.

  • Passion for PropTech: A strong interest in property technology and a desire to drive meaningful change in the industry.

Bonus Skills:

  • Previous experience in PropTech, FinTech, or a strong interest in real estate technology.

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of cloud solutions, no/low-code platforms, DevOps practices, and data-driven decision-making.
