Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated student assistant for a short-term, part-time position focused on 3D design and mechanical modelling. The role involves supporting engineers and project teams by creating and modifying 3D models using FreeCAD or SolidWorks. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling within a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D mechanical models and assemblies using FreeCAD or SolidWorks.

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and documentation for mechanical components and assemblies.

• Assist engineers with design iterations, prototyping, and model optimization for manufacturing.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience with 3D CAD software (FreeCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and technical drawing standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with additional CAD tools is a plus.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
