About the Role

We’re hiring a Head of Partnerships to lead post-sales strategy and execution, and support pre-sales in close collaboration with our Sales team. BLAST is reliant upon brand partnerships through sponsorship and advertising as part of our global esports ecosystems and has a dynamic commercial team across London, New York and Denmark.

This role is both strategic and operational: you will oversee the partnership delivery team from pitch development to partner onboarding and owning the end-to-end success of high-value partnerships. 

Working in tandem with sellers who handle outreach and initial contact you will shape partnership narratives, guide strategic opportunities through the pipeline, and ensure long-term success after the deal closes.

You’ll report directly to the VP Brand Partnerships and act as the connective tissue between new business, delivery, and relationship growth.

Location preference is New York or London with the ability to travel to our global clients and events.

Requirements

Post-Sales Oversight:

  • Manage the post-sales partnerships team focused on onboarding, activation, and relationship growth.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from pitch to delivery, maintaining the strategic throughline.
  • Act as a senior relationship owner for strategic partners, driving renewal, upsell, and retention.

Partnership Development & Innovation:

  • Identify and structure strategic opportunities, including co-marketing, integrations, or long-term collaborations.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to refine offerings and create value-led partnerships.
  • Ensure our partnership offering is best-in-class across activations, brand exposure, digital content and event activity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Sales to support opportunities once initial outreach or interest is established.
  • Act as a co-strategist during the pitch phase—leading narrative, positioning, and partner-specific material development.
  • Maintain tight alignment with Sales leadership to ensure continuity across outreach, pitch, and execution.
  • Collaborate with other commercial areas - destinations, publishers and media rights teams to ensure key stakeholders from those groups (e.g. host cities, promoter partners, game publisher partners) needs and objectives are also being considered and served.
  • Work with internal departments - content, creative, social, events etc. to ensure partnership plans and activity are considered and maximised for broad company benefit and cohesion.

Pre-Sales Strategy & Team Leadership:

  • Lead the pre-sales partnerships team responsible for pitch decks, deal framing, and bespoke strategy.
  • Join key partner calls to position value, build trust, and act as a senior thought partner.
  • Create scalable frameworks to help Sales close complex or high-value deals faster and more effectively.
