Who We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for a QA Tester who’s passionate about quality, user experience, and mobile technology. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our React Native app (built with Expo) is stable, intuitive, and delightful to use. From catching bugs to improving testing processes, your work will have a direct impact on the daily health journeys of thousands of women.
Role Overview:
As a Mobile Engineer at Hormona, your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining our React Native app built with Expo. You’ll work closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver impactful features, improve performance, and ensure a seamless user experience on both iOS and Android.

Responsibilities:
Test the App: Perform manual testing on our iOS and Android apps to catch bugs before users do.
Write Test Cases: Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
Collaborate Closely:Work with developers, designers, and product managers to review features and ensure they meet requirements and user expectations.
Report Issues Clearly: Log bugs with clear reproduction steps and context, and verify fixes.
Automate Where Possible: Help define and expand test automation coverage for critical user flows.
Monitor Quality Metrics: Use tools like Firebase, Sentry, or TestRail to track and improve app quality.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in mobile app development, with strong focus on React Native (Expo).
Solid understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and debugging.
Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play.
Familiar with mobile analytics tools (e.g. Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
Strong attention to UI detail and a user-first mindset.
Experience working in agile teams and with CI/CD workflows for mobile.
Passion for building products that make a real-world impact.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably in mobile app environments (React Native a plus).
Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of user empathy.
Experience writing test cases, test plans, and reporting bugs clearly and concisely.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, GitHub, BrowserStack, or Firebase Crashlytics.
Comfort working in agile environments and collaborating across remote teams.
Bonus: Experience with test automation (e.g. Detox, Appium, or similar).
Nice-to-Haves:
Interest or experience in health tech, wellness, or mobile-first subscription products.
Familiarity with data privacy standards (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA).* Background in usability testing or A/B testing.
