Co-founder & Lead Engineer – Build the MVP of Fenix

APS is a defense tech startup developing Fenix – a software module that enables small drones to carry out semi-autonomous strike missions with high precision and a low probability of being shot down.

We’re looking for a co-founder to lead development of the MVP. You’ll be free to choose the stack, architecture, and tools – your job is to bring the core functions of Fenix to life.

APS is in early-stage development with a clear technical roadmap and defined product-market fit in the defense sector. The founder has a professional background as a soldier and several years of engineering experience from the defense industry.

You're a good fit if you...

• Have experience with drone software (PX4, MAVSDK, ROS2) or real-time control systems

• Enjoy building things from scratch – from concept to working prototype

• Care about robustness, security, and mission-critical performance

• Want to help shape the future of European defense technology
