DanSTAR is Expanding Our Operations Team Join us behind the scenes of Denmark’s most advanced student rocket program

We have 3 roles which we need filled, please see the below.

Are you organized, communicative, or creative—and want a front-row seat to real rocketry? DanSTAR is looking for three new members to boost our operations team. These roles are critical to helping our technical teams focus on engineering while you help us scale, stay professional, and build our brand.  

Time commitment: 4–8 hours per week  

Start: As soon as possible  

Recognition: Job-title, great on your resume  

Support: One-on-one onboarding with team leads  

Who can apply: People inside and outside of DTU with an interest in rocketry and a drive to contribute 


Procurement Coordinator (Indkøb)

Help our rocket teams get the parts they need—on time and on budget.

You will:

  • Collect orders from all technical team leads

  • Research and identify suppliers (or potential sponsors!)

  • Place orders and track their status in Trello

  • Maintain active oversight of open orders and upcoming orders

  • Solve problems like delivery delays or unavailable parts

  • Suggest or research alternatives for items when needed

Ideal for someone who is:

  • Organized and proactive

  • Interested in logistics and working with all parts of the rocket

  • Comfortable reaching out to companies and negotiating


Stakeholder Manager (PR – Stakeholders)

Steer our external image with sponsors and partners—we need someone to keep these relationships strong.

You will:

  • Regularly communicate with company sponsors and other stakeholders

  • Keep an overview of all sponsor relationships

  • Coordinate sponsor-related activities and events (e.g., Intro Week at DTU or Space Expo Denmark)

  • Report back on our relations and help align expectations

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow our network

Ideal for someone who is:

  • Professional in tone and organized in communication

  • Interested in networking and sponsorship relations

  • Comfortable talking to company reps and building long-term relations


Social Media & Branding Lead (PR – SoMe) Tell our story.

From launches to lab nights—showcase what makes DanSTAR special.

You will:

  • Create and manage content on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram

  • Edit photos and videos from our teams (and take some yourself!)

  • Post regularly and respond to comments/messages

  • Pitch content to blogs, student media, or even newspapers

  • Help define and grow our public presence

Ideal for someone who is:

  • Creative with a basic grasp of graphic/video editing

  • Confident in writing short, engaging posts

  • Excited to share the world of rocketry with others
