Are you a creative builder with experience in Roblox Studio or Minecraft?
We’re looking for a Game Developer Intern to help us bring Hello Ada into gaming platforms where kids already learn, build, and play. Your role will focus on building light, playful experiences inside Roblox and/or Minecraft (or other platforms that you can recommend?), inspired by our AI Studio — where kids create games and apps from their ideas.
Hello Ada is an AI-powered learning universe where kids aged 7–14 turn their ideas into real digital projects — games, apps, and more; all powered by AI. We focus on empowering creativity, especially for girls, and designing playful tools that spark curiosity about tech.
Now, we want to extend Hello Ada into the worlds kids already live in: Roblox and Minecraft.
Depending on your skills and interests, your work may include:
Build a branded Hello Ada obby or mini-game using Roblox Studio + Lua
Add simple interactions, custom outfits, and “missions” (e.g. “Find the missing idea blocks!”)
Use free assets + light scripting to make it fun, not overwhelming
Option to collaborate with a visual designer on aesthetic/branding
Design a “Hello Ada World” in Minecraft Education Edition or standard Minecraft
Add STEAM-inspired mini-missions (e.g. collect redstone logic blocks to unlock areas)
Test compatibility with classroom settings or school clubs
Familiar with Roblox Studio or Minecraft modding/building
Comfortable with basic Lua scripting or Redstone / Minecraft commands
Creative and playful — you understand what makes a game fun for 9–12-year-olds
Organized, able to work independently, and not afraid to try things out
Bonus: Experience with UX, UI, or working with educational content
A portfolio-ready project shipped on a live gaming platform
Experience working with a mission-driven startup shaping how kids learn with tech
Flexibility and mentorship: we’ll support your creativity and give you room to shine
Your name credited in the experience (and potential to continue as a collaborator)
A recommendation letter upon completion
Note: This is an unpaid internship designed for early-career builders, students, or self-taught devs looking to get hands-on experience with playful, purpose-driven gaming.
