We are now expanding our team and seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer to design and build exceptional user interfaces for our Speech products and supporting internal and customer-facing systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in utilizing various frontend technologies and a passion for building modern, customer-centric interfaces with modern tech stacks. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Web Application Development: Work together with our expert team to design and build modern web applications serving both our customers and internal teams. 

• Tooling: Work with the latest tools and libraries 

• Setting best practices: Play a key role in defining coding standards and best practices across our frontend applications. 

• Modernization: Contribute to the transformation of our existing applications into a modern, maintainable codebase. 

• Speech tools in Electron: Have the opportunity to contribute to our Electron-based speech recognition applications, used daily by thousands of healthcare professionals. 

Relevant technologies: 

Typescript, React, Material UI (moving to Tailwind), React Query, Redux (RTK)  & Zustand, Tanstack Router, Electron, WebRTC. 

What we are looking for:  

• Senior-level experience in web application development: 5+ years of professional experience in building robust web applications 

• Adaptability: Ability to learn and adopt new libraries and frameworks as needed 

• UX design experience: Strong experience in UX design principles and their implementation 

• Precise design execution: Ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect, high quality components 

• Maintainable by desing: Strive to make solutions that are lean, simple, maintainable 

• English language skills: Excellent communication skills in English 

• Personal development: Strong desire to stay current with the latest technological advancements, and continuously improve your skills 

• Drive continuous improvement: You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement in existing applications and driving those changes through to completion.  

• Located near Helsinki: For this position we would prefer someone who could visit our office a few times per week. We are not open to help with re-location.

Nice-to-haves:

• Javascript optimization: Experience in analyzing and optimizing Javascript performance 

• Speech Recognition experience: Prior experience working with Speech Recognition or voice-enabled solutions. 

• Healthcare experience: Prior work history in healthcare sector 

• Mobile development experience: Mobile development knowledge 

• Finnish language skills: Finnish language proficiency
