SomebodyMakeIt is building the go-to marketplace for turning ideas into real-world products; validated by demand, created by makers, and produced locally. Think of it as a next-gen product innovation layer, where ideas don’t just sit in sketchbooks, they ship.
We’re solving one of the biggest inefficiencies in the physical product world: most products fail because they’re built before validating demand. We flip that around. Anyone can post an idea, see if others want it, and match with creators and local producers to bring it to life. IP is protected from day one, revenue is fairly shared, and even the original idea-owner earns a cut when their concept succeeds.
We’re starting where the need is urgent: entertainment and museum sectors craving flexible, small-batch, and custom products. Our first pilot customer is a sci-fi TV series, and we’re onboarding makers, fans and producers across EU, US and the Nordics.
SomebodyMakeIt reduces risk, waste and friction, and opens up a new, sustainable way to test, fund and produce physical goods at scale. We’re a small but ambitious team looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join us as our first hire and a core contributor.
You’ll play a central, hands-on role in building and scaling the platform that turns ideas into real products, empowering ideators, makers, and brands to collaborate and create. We’re building smart tools for idea validation, licensing, and local production. Powered by AI and made for speed.
This isn’t a siloed dev job. You’ll be deeply involved in product decisions, shaping how we build, and helping us stay fast, secure, and scalable. You’ll work alongside a small, passionate team with big ambitions, where your voice counts, your work matters, and the momentum is real.
We’re a mixed and inclusive crew: different backgrounds, skills, and weird hobbies welcome. This will be fast, a little wild, and definitely a journey to remember.
