As a People Partner, you will play a key role in enabling specific business areas. You will act as a strategic advisor and operational partner on all people-related matters - from organizational design and workforce planning to handling complex personnel cases. This role requires a high level of independence, strong business acumen, and the ability to balance people's needs with company priorities. You would have a main responsibility for our office teams at Tøyen, including bigger areas such as Product and Technology, but also smaller areas such as Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service. You would also be part of a team of People Partners/Advisors that support each other and collaborate across Oda.
Partner with area leaders to design and implement organizational structures aligned with business goals
Monitor and analyse people data (e.g., personnel cost, productivity, attrition, engagement, sick leave) and advise leaders on improvement
Lead and support organizational changes, including restructuring, sizing, and role adjustments
Advise on job architecture, compensation, and role design
Drive talent planning and help identify capability gaps and people-related risks
Manage relationships with unions (Tekna) and lead negotiations when needed
Develop and optimize HR processes and create learning material for leaders
Be a trusted advisor on complex personnel matters and employee relations
Ensure compliance with labor law and internal policies
Coach and challenge leaders to grow their leadership capabilities
Share insight from the area to improve shared people services and initiatives
Educational background in HR or relevant field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in Operational HR, working closely with leaders
Strong understanding of both the human and business sides of leadership
Solid knowledge of labor law, union collaboration, and compliance matters
Experience with HR systems (e.g,. Workday, Quinyx, Peakon, or similar)
A business-minded HR professional who sees the bigger picture
A problem-solver who identifies root causes and recommends effective solutions
Someone who builds trust with leaders while also challenging them when needed
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to handle quick operational tasks and drive long-term initiatives
Good data literacy and the ability to draw conclusions from people metrics
