Toyacademy (Legeakademiet) is looking for a freelance translator to deliver accurate, engaging, and culturally relevant translations of our content from Danish to English.

We sell educational toys that support children's development through play. Building strong relationships with our customers is a top priority, and we are established in several countries as a trusted and authentic source of inspiration and information in the business of educational toys and child development.

Our mission is to inspire even more families internationally—and we need your expertise to help strengthen our presence in English-speaking markets.

About the job:

• Translate and proofread AI-translations of various types of content (product descriptions, templates, attributes, blog posts, social media, e-books, etc.)

• Work with various online AI-tools.

• Ensure translations are grammatically correct and culturally appropriate.

• Work closely with our team to refine communication and align with global trends.

• Flexible, remote part-time freelance position with occasional visits to our office.

About you:

• Professional experience in Danish-to-English translation and proofreading.

• Native English speaker with fluency in Danish.

• Excellent spelling and grammar skills.

• Open to constructive feedback and collaboration.

• Available for at least 20 hours per week. We hope for 30+ hours/week leading up to .com site launch, but with fewer hours later.

  
  

Our main office is located in Hørsholm, Denmark, with a welcoming team of 25 colleagues.
