Requirements

We’re hiring a Facility Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Berlin production studio. This isn’t a desk job - it’s a hands-on role that sits at the heart of our live broadcast operations. From maintaining infrastructure to managing deliveries, your work ensures the studio is always ready for showtime.

You’ll be the go-to person for anything venue-related, working closely with internal teams and external contractors to keep everything running smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the studio’s upkeep: cleaning, maintenance, repair work, and upgrades
• Manage building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, access control) with a focus on preventive maintenance
• Keep production, backstage, and audience spaces in top condition
• Handle inbound and outbound logistics, from small packages to large freight shipments
• Coordinate with customs and shipping partners for international deliveries
• Maintain storage areas and track inventory using a system you help manage
• Ensure the facility meets health, safety, and compliance standards under German regulations
• Lead relationships with external service providers—maintenance crews, cleaning teams, security, etc.
• Track the venue’s operational budget and manage invoices for facility-related services
• Keep documentation up to date, from floor plans to safety reports

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone with strong practical instincts and a good head for systems and process. You don’t need to come from a TV studio background, but you do need to know what it means to keep a venue running under pressure.

You should have:

• Experience managing a facility, venue, or operations-heavy environment
• Working knowledge of building systems and infrastructure
• A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving
• Familiarity with contractor and vendor management
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized across multiple priorities
• Fluency in German and English
