Are you passionate about helping Commercial organizations gaining full value of their applications? Do you have extensive experience with system management and business analysis?

If so, now is your chance to join Ascendis Pharma as our new System Manager for the Commercial IT EU team in Global IT.

Ascendis Pharma is a fast-growing global biopharmaceutical company committed to making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. We have locations in Denmark, Germany, the United States, the UK, Italy, Spain, and France.

Guided by our core values of Patients, Science, and Passion, we use our TransCon® drug development platform to fulfill our mission of developing new therapies, selecting only those that demonstrate best-in-class potential to address unmet medical needs.

Today, we are advancing programs in Endocrinology Rare Disease and Oncology. In addition, we collaborate with partners around the world on the development of TransCon-based products for other therapeutic areas and markets.

We are seeking a passionate System Manager with Business Analyst skills to join our growing team. As a key member of Global IT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient management and integrity of Veeva CRM, incl. documentation processes in the Commercial IT EU domain.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

You will be joining the Commercial IT EU team consisting of 3 internal colleagues, and report directly to Jakob Monajemzadeh Thrane, People Leader, and Sune Mejlvang, Functional leader, who are both based in Hellerup, Denmark. You will be based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Maintain and improve our applications – together with the rest of the Product team.

  • Ownership of the Product team's documentation processes, including ensuring all systems comply with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Manage and maintain Veeva CRM to ensure optimal performance, security, availability, and user access. This includes technical support; for instance, ensure user administration and incidents are managed efficiently.

  • Drive test activities in Azure DevOps; identify and mitigate IT-related risks (including security and GDPR); and develop, implement, and enforce IT policies and procedures to support compliance and risk management objectives.

  • Understanding of business processes and requirements and translating these into technical features and functionality in collaboration with our implementation partners.

  • Coordinate with team members, cross-functional stakeholders, software vendors, and support partners to identify gaps and ensure efficient delivery of application changes.

  • Support end-user training processes to ensure users get the most out of our applications.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold an academic degree – preferably a master’s degree – and 5+ years of experience from a similar role within a regulated industry, e.g. pharma, biotechnology, food & nutrition, finance or a consultancy catering to a regulated industry.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Experience with CRM (e.g. Veeva CRM or similar)

  • 5+ years of experience working within an IT organization supporting a Commercial organization

  • Experience with documentation, test management and validation processes from a regulated industry.

Key competencies:

You are a strong team player, analytical, and possess a can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate is both structured and detail-oriented, while also demonstrating strong communication skills and a sense of adaptability.

You thrive in an entrepreneurial, informal, and open environment where innovation and change are key. You handle ambiguity well and employ a solution-oriented approach to generate new ways forward together with your team.

You have a passion for the technical aspects of the role, but your competencies extend beyond the techy requirements due to your intuitive curiosity and strong desire to truly understand and assist the colleagues you and the team support.

Lastly, as the Commercial IT EU Product team is still being formed, we are looking for a profile who will proactively participate in product discovery and developing our ways of working in the team and with business stakeholders.

Office: Tuborg Boulevard 12, 2900 Hellerup, Denmark
