Youth on Demand is Norway’s most ambitious youth employment platform. We connect young people aged 13–25 with families, the elderly, and businesses that need help—solving two urgent problems at once: youth unemployment and everyday challenges for busy adults. With early traction, an active user base, and a mission-driven team, we’re building something that truly matters.We’re now looking for a junior fullstack developer who wants to grow fast, learn from experienced developers, and get in early on a product that is just beginning to scale.

Your Day-to-Day

• Build and maintain features across our stack (PHP, Laravel, Vue, MySQL, and more)

• Work closely with our two senior developers and product designer to deliver a seamless experience for our users

• Write clean, scalable code with a focus on speed, simplicity, and security

• Take part in product discussions and contribute your voice to how we build

• Continuously learn new technologies and best practices

• Debug, test, and improve existing code

You Might Be a Great Fit If…

• You have some professional or strong academic experience with PHP and Laravel

• You’re comfortable on both backend and frontend—even if you’re stronger in one

• You have a high work ethic and love what you do

• You love building things people love

• You’ve recently finished your education, or you’ve taken a different path—what matters is that you can ship

• You care about clean code, fast iteration, and great UX

Bonus If You Have:

• Some backend deployment or dev-ops knowledge

• Side projects or open-source contributions

• Familiarity with product-led growth environments
