At BLAST, we bring people together, across borders, stages, and time zones. Now we’re looking for a Programme Director to join our Ecosystem team and help shape the future of our CS (BLAST Premier) and Dota (Dota Slam) programmes, as well as other exciting IPs in the pipeline.
You’ll work alongside passionate colleagues in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to drive the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of world-class competitive ecosystems. Reporting to the SVP of Ecosystems, you'll play a central role in ensuring our partnerships with publishers like Valve are thriving, our formats are future-proof, and our shows are delivered at the highest level.
As our new Programme Director, you’ll be the off-screen conductor of our competitive ecosystems, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and strategically, from stakeholder relationships to financial oversight to event delivery.
Your key responsibilities include:
Owning the P&L, balancing revenue, costs and quality to drive profitability across the ecosystem
Partnering with the Executive Producer to maximise the value of on-screen budgets and deliver top-tier events Managing key stakeholders, both internal and external, from commercial teams to publishers like Valve
Orchestrating event delivery by aligning strategic goals with live production needs
Defining and refining formats to keep our ecosystems engaging, competitive, and commercially viable
Driving long-term vision, mapping out what the future of our ecosystems should look like and how we get there
Leading a lean, motivated team of Programme Managers and Coordinators
Fostering a strong, collaborative culture, resolving conflicts constructively and making it fun to be part of the journey
Who You Are, To Succeed in This Role
You’re a strategic thinker and operational powerhouse with a deep understanding of what it takes to run complex, multi-stakeholder programmes. You love finding smart solutions, building great working relationships, and delivering high-quality results that people can be proud of.
We imagine you have:
Experience managing large-scale programmes or ecosystems, ideally in entertainment, gaming, or live events Proven financial fluency, managing P&Ls, budgets, and commercial optimisation
Strong relationship-building skills, especially with external partners or publishers
Operational know-how and the ability to orchestrate teams around a shared vision
With a proactive and adaptable mindset, you’re at your best in a fast-moving environment
Great communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership
Fluency in English (Danish is a plus, but not essential.
