Measurlabs is a growth company providing scientific laboratory analyses, materials characterization, and testing services for international clients in 60+ countries. We work with a network of over 900 partner laboratories around the world and bring their best services to our clients' reach.
Practically every company developing, manufacturing, or importing tangible products or materials needs laboratory testing services for R&D, quality control, and certification. By buying these services from us, clients can access a vast catalog of testing services, with our approachable and solution-oriented testing experts helping them solve their measurement-related challenges.
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Food Contact Materials (FCM) expert to join our team. This is a permanent position based in Vallila, Helsinki. If you have expertise in FCMs and enjoy working at the intersection of science, regulation, and customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll support clients in navigating the regulatory landscape of food contact materials by coordinating laboratory testing aligned with applicable laws and regulations. You’ll act as the key link between our clients, who need testing services, and our partner laboratories, who conduct the tests.
Identifying required tests based on client needs and legal requirements
Preparing and delivering offers to our customers together with our sales team
Coordinating sample submissions to partner labs
Reporting results to clients and providing technical consultation
Supporting clients through every step of the compliance process
You’ll primarily work on compliance projects related to plastic, paper, and board food contact materials. To succeed, you’ll need to be (or become) well-versed in the regulatory framework and testing protocols relevant to FCMs.
Working with our clients will be an essential part of the role, so you need to enjoy being in customer contact. While you don’t need to be a sales expert, you should have a sales mentality and feel comfortable performing technical sales.
Experience with FCM compliance testing is a significant advantage, but not a strict requirement. We’re happy to provide training if you bring the right foundational skills and attitude..
We are a growth company, so we hope you are equipped with an open-minded attitude and a drive to impact how we bring our business to the next level. We will give you lots of freedom and possibilities to influence your work. We expect your full-time presence at our Vallila office during the first months, after which you can start working with a hybrid model, if you wish.
