We’re looking for a Commercial Controller to join Oda!

In this role, you'll be a key player in empowering our management team with the financial insights they need to steer Oda forward. You'll team up with people across the business to dig into what really drives our performance and spot exciting opportunities for growth. Together with the Commercial team, you'll be on a mission to boost our gross margins, setting clear goals and making sure we're all focusing on the right things, guided by smart data decisions.

As part of the Finance team, you'll be working closely with the Director of FP&A to make a real impact on our financial success.

What you’ll be doing as a Commercial Controller

• Own and drive improvements for Gross Margins and Joint Marketing, working closely with the Commercial team from a Finance perspective.

• Managing reporting and follow-ups during supplier negotiations will be a key part of your role.

• Own reporting for our subsidiaries, Korn Bakeri and Netfresh.

• Analyzing financial and business performance to provide insights and suggest actions for achieving the budget will be your responsibility.

• Manage the department's financial rhythm through robust budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

• As the financial sparring partner for the Commercial department, you will proactively suggest ad-hoc financial analysis to aid in their decision-making.

• Contribute to the global Finance team, helping to make Oda a well-run global player in online groceries.

You're a confident communicator, always looking for new, smart ways to solve problems with a keen eye on the financial impact.

What you’ll need to succeed 🌟

• Master in Business or similar with good results

• Strong business acumen with the ability to closely partner up with management functions to support the development for the business

• Experience using Google Sheets or Excel and PowerPoint

• Experienced with BI tools and finance/business intelligence IT systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Norwegian and English, for stakeholder engagement and change management.

• Enjoys teamwork and consistently delivers high-quality work to meet deadlines.
