About Nofence
Nofence is a pioneering Norwegian company at the forefront of modern agriculture technology, with a mission to revolutionize livestock management. Nofence has developed a cutting-edge virtual fencing system that utilizes advanced GPS technology and intelligent collars to replace traditional physical barriers.
Nofence offers a solution that allows animals to roam freely within virtual boundaries, offering a sense of freedom while enabling farmers to exercise precise control over their herds. The data-driven analytics offered by Nofence’s technology empowers farmers with insights that inform strategic decisions. Good grazing management is essential for grass regrowth, and Nofence allows farmers to change the barriers that the livestock is roaming. This gives them the opportunity to ensure that the natural plants are given optimal recovery time. This synergy between technology and tradition enhances operational efficiency and mitigates the environmental impact associated with traditional fencing methods.
We are a group of dedicated individuals with high ambitions on behalf of ourselves, our customers and the future of Agri-tech. We think it is important to have fun while working hard, both for it to be worthwhile, and because it improves our output and chance of success.
Nofence is backed by multiple impressive investors such as Ferd, Sandwater and Momentum and is in a good position for international scaling and expansion. The company currently has around 80 international professionals based in Norway, UK, Spain and the US, that all share a common goal – to support farmers and cattle owners, improve animal welfare, and restore soil fertility and biodiversity.
