What's the role about? 💻

As our Engineering Manager, you’ll turn technical vision into reality by guiding our product development team with clarity and purpose. With a strong DevOps mindset, you’ll continuously help us simplify and improve our product. A key focus will be introducing AI-driven solutions to enhance our workflows and product capabilities.

This is a strategic and hands-on role with direct impact on how we build, scale, and deliver value.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, including developers and team leads.

• Own and improve our engineering and delivery processes,  from planning to execution.

• Drive the adoption of AI where it creates real impact, from development and automation to product innovation.

• Take ownership of translations in our applications, ensuring accuracy and user-friendliness across all markets.

• Define and communicate both short- and long-term goals to keep the team aligned and motivated.

• Establish and uphold strong engineering principles and workflows to ensure quality and speed.

• Ensure the team has the tools, knowledge, and environment to deliver great work.

• Drive collaboration across departments to bring features to market efficiently.

• Align on definitions of “done” to ensure shared understanding across teams.

• Remove blockers, manage roadblocks, and keep momentum high.

• Foster knowledge-sharing and best practices between teams.

• Support team members’ development through performance talks, salary reviews, and coaching.

• Collaborate closely with the CTO and product team, as well as Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing.

To thrive in the role we believe that you...🌟

• Have 3+ years of experience leading and scaling engineering teams, preferably within SaaS.

• Hold a degree in Engineering (MSc/BSc) or equivalent technical background.

• Know how to solve real user problems through technology.

• Have hands-on knowledge of modern development stacks (e.g., JavaScript, React, AWS).

• Understand and work with modern infrastructure, tools, and agile methods.

• Have a genuine interest in how AI can be applied to create smarter processes and products.

• Are proactive, take initiative, and don’t wait for others to act.

• Lead by coaching, with strong interpersonal and motivational skills.

• Approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset and coach your team through challenges.

• Are structured, organized, and detail-oriented.

• Communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
