About the role

We're looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our Whales team managing the UKI region at Pleo. In this role, you'll work closely with our high-value "Whales" customers, ensuring they thrive and grow with Pleo and be part of the Customer Success team as we scale our portfolio of customers. Where will you be based? This role is based in our Lisbon office 🇵🇹, with occasional travel to the UK.

What you’ll be doing 

As a Customer Success Manager Whales, you will: 

  • Own the Adoption and nurture phase - onboarding and implementation are covered, your focus is on ensuring our biggest UKI customers are thriving.
  • Create an ‘Enterprise-like Experience’ – be the strategic partner our customers can’t live without.
  • Customer Retention is key – UKI is our biggest market, and competition is fierce. You’ll be the glue keeping our Whales customers engaged and growing with us.
  • Be a leader, by example – no titles needed. You lead by action, inspire those around you, and push us all forward.
  • Work cross-functionally – collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing. At Pleo, it’s “One Team, One Dream” – and we win together!
  • Help shape the future of CX at Pleo – bring fresh ideas, best practices, and innovative approaches to make our Customer Success team the best in Europe.

Who you'll be working with and reporting to

You'll report to Jacob, Manager of Customer Success, and work closely with teams in sales and product. Our team is 6 CMS responsible for the Whales segment is highly collaborative and dedicated to retain customers. You'll also have the chance to partner with Sales & Growth to ensure success
