Our product 3DAI™ revolutionizes urban and highway road management by providing timely, actionable insights about road conditions through AI powered live maps. As a result it empowers businesses, municipalities, and road transport authorities to make data-driven decisions, optimize their operations, and increase urban safety.

Your role
You will be part of the team responsible for the user interface components of the 3DAI™ platform.
You will play a key role in developing and optimizing the web application and services that power the 3DAI™ platform. You will collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to create seamless, data-rich web application that efficiently handles large-scale geospatial data. You will also contribute to the underlying APIs and database interactions that enable these capabilities and guide the team toward greater ownership of API development and database management. Your expertise in modern frontend development, along with a solid understanding of backend systems and cloud-based architectures, will be essential in delivering a high quality, well integrated web application.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain features across the web application and supporting services.
- Develop and optimize APIs and database interactions to support data-driven functionality.
- Write high-quality, testable code and improve automated test coverage.
- Work closely with the product team to translate user stories in to user friendly interface design, and maintainable and scalable code.
- Debug and resolve issues across the frontend, API, and database layers.
- Contribute to documentation and internal tools to improve team efficiency and collaboration.
Who you are
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining front-end applications using modern frameworks with at least one year of experience with React and state management libraries.
- Proficiency in designing and working with APIs, including REST and GraphQL, and experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud-based development and infrastructure as code principles.
- Experience with cross-browser development, responsive web design and web accessibility standards.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues across frontend and backend systems.
Bonus points
- Strong understanding of and experience with test driven development.
- Experience working with geospatial data or map-based applications.
- Familiarity with Material UI, or other UI frameworks.
- Experience working with data grid libraries like Material UI DataGrid or AG Grid.
- Experience with backend development, including building APIs and working with databases.
- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS (Cognito, AppConfig, S3, Lambda) and serverless computing.
- Experience with Playwright testing frameworks for E2E testing.
