About the team
At reMarkable, the Digital Media team leads the charge in scaling our global growth — using digital platforms to build brand awareness, spark interest, and convert engagement into results.
We’re responsible for social media advertising, paid search, and other key initiatives — and in 2025, we’ll double down on our Google and YouTube strategy. That’s where you come in.
We work closely with internal stakeholders like the Creative Studio and Market & Sales teams, and collaborate with platform partners including Google, YouTube, Meta and others.
The team consists of a Team Lead, two Digital Media Specialists, and an external consultant. The role reports to Team Lead Digital Media.
About the role
We’re looking for a performance-driven Digital Media Specialist to scale and optimize our advertising across Google Networks, including Paid search Ads and YouTube, driving awareness, consideration, and demand with a combination of seasonal campaigns and an always-on approach. You’ll experiment with new strategies, run incrementality tests, analyze data for insights, and collaborate cross-functionally to maximize results — combining seasonal campaigns with a scalable always-on approach.
Your responsibilities may include:
Campaign execution and optimization: Set up, manage, and optimize YouTube and Google Search campaigns using automation and AI tools. Track and optimize performance across key metrics including ROAS, CPA, and cost per engaged session
Data-driven strategy: Collaborate with the Digital Media and Analytics team to develop testing hypotheses, optimize targeting, bidding, and creatives based on insights
Budget ownership and reporting: Allocate and track media spend, ensure accurate pacing, and deliver clear reporting linked to business outcomes
Platform and partner management: Act as main point of contact for Google and YouTube, stay up-to-date on platform best practices and innovations
Creative and cross-channel collaboration: Translate insights into creative feedback, and collaborate across teams to support other digital channels such as Social, Podcast, and Programmatic
We are looking for the following experience:
3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Paid Search and YouTube Ads; experience with Shopping Ads and Display Ads is a plus
Strong analytical skills for performance optimization, incrementality testing, and data-driven creative development
Proven experience managing large-scale budgets across markets and aligning spend with performance KPIs
Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Amplitude) and tools like Smartly.io
Proven ability to plan strategic roadmaps, manage projects independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external platform partners
We’d love it if you also:
Have experience with or knowledge of other advertising platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar
Are familiar with Smartly.io for programmatic and how it can be used to optimize and scale creatives
As a person, you’re curious and thrive on testing new ideas — always learning from results to improve. You work well independently and collaborate effectively with others. Your structured and proactive mindset helps you succeed in a fast-paced environment, and you bring energy, commitment, and a hands-on attitude to everything you do.
