About the role
As a Huuva General Manager, you have full ownership of your market - essentially meaning that you are the CEO of a startup within a startup.
You’ll own the P&L for your market and will be growing the market while maintaining a healthy level of profitability. You’ll be continuously seeking ways to increase sales through existing stores, looking out for new brand partners as well as conquering new cities.
The Finnish country operation consists currently of 12 stores while being on its way to nationwide coverage.
While we'll provide you with a lot of help and support, you are also expected to strive as an independent manager and have an exceptional ability to execute every day.
Your responsibilities
Market Launch & Growth:
Lead the Finnish market operation
Develop and implement a comprehensive market strategy to growth; develop and execute strategies to accelerate market penetration, drive user acquisition, and increase order volume
Build and maintain relationships with our brand and delivery partners to ensure we have the best selection and reach in the market while ensuring healthy unit economics
Operational Excellence:
Champion customer experience in the market. You will follow customer insights closely and monitor end-to-end operations from order placement to delivery.
Implement and maintain operational processes that ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
Identify and resolve challenges proactively to maintain uninterrupted service.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing local team, including kitchen, marketing and expansion managers, and specialists.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Drive energy into the organization by demanding velocity, setting the bar for excellence and determining what to focus on.
Financial Performance:
Manage the market’s P&L.
Track key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
Drive margin improvement strategies without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with central teams, including Product, Operations, and People, to ensure alignment on initiatives and goals.
