We are seeking an experienced Solution Engineer for our growing team near London who is a true pre-sales & post-sales wizard or sorceress!


As a Solution Engineer, you will play a vital role in the success of enabling sublime client solutions and value. You will be collaborating closely with our new business team in discovering the true value drivers and needs for new clients, as you will be showcasing our solutions to drive optimal client value and new business opportunities. Additionally, you will be supporting the Account Managers in their efforts to uplift existing client deals by identifying their needs, unlocked opportunities for driving more client value, as we always focus on delivering high-quality solutions and make our clients as succesful as possible with their employee engagement and performance. 


In this role, you will work closely together with the VP of Sales & Country Manager UK, Account Executive and Business Development team in the UK, as well as you will have close collaboration with your Solution Engineering colleagues in Copenhagen. You will make an exciting career move as you will join a 5x growth journey where the UK is a new region for us, and new team where you will be part of building and establishing our presence from scratch as we provide stellar employee engagement and performance platforms for high-end clients in the Retail and Hospitality segments. 


Additionally, this is an exciting and transformative time to join Relesys, as we have just gone into a strategic partnership with the Private Equity fund, Copilot, who will be our Copilots over the coming years as they support our extensive growth ambitions - exciting times! 

 

Your key responsibilities:‍

As a Solution Engineer, your role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with the New Sales team and Account Managers to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing client's needs and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and upselling
  • Create and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to both existing and potential clients
  • Develop deep product knowledge and stay up to date with the latest industry trends to effectively articulate the value proposition of our SaaS solution
  • Work closely with the professional services, product, and client success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and post-sales support
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to prospects and clients, addressing their pain points and aligning our solutions with their specific business goals
  • Support the development of proposals, RFPs, and RFIs by contributing technical expertise and insights
  • Assist in the creation of sales collateral, including case studies, solution briefs, and competitive analysis, to support the sales team's efforts

 

Who are you?:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, such as Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management within the SaaS industry
  • Experience with both Medium and Enterprise pre-sales and post-sales activity
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex client requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
  • It is an advantage if you have in-depth knowledge of the retail industry, including emerging trends, challenges, and a strong understanding of key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels of an organization
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, and other relevant software is a plus
  • Experienced in applying MEDDPICC methodology continuously to assure client qualification, a successful process in driving revenue and creating value 
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and demonstrate exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • You have fluent or high professional proficiency in English 
  • You are located near London
