As the VP of People & Culture, you will be a key member of the Extended Executive Team, reporting to the CFO. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our business goals and fosters a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive culture. You will lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from attracting and developing top talent to ensuring a positive and rewarding employee experience.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a people and culture strategy that supports MapsPeople's growth and business objectives.
Talent Acquisition & Development: Drive the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring we attract and hire top talent. Develop and implement programs for employee development, training, and career growth.
Employee Engagement & Culture: Champion a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment. Implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, recognition, and overall satisfaction.
Performance Management: Lead the performance management process, ensuring fair and consistent feedback and opportunities for improvement.
Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with our values.
Employee Relations & Compliance: Oversee employee relations, ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. Lead initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Team & Operations: Lead our People (1 HC) and administration (1 HC) team and work closely together with Finance on operational matters such as payroll.
Organizational Development: Identify and address organizational development needs to improve efficiency, communication, and collaboration.
Proven experience as a VP of People & Culture or similar leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful people strategies.
Comprehensive knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment law.
Appetite for a mix of hands-on operational tasks and strategic projects
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience in building and managing high-performing teams across different countries, including Denmark and the United States.
A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
Cultural awareness and a commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
