We’re Venuu – an online marketplace reshaping the way people celebrate life’s special moments. Every month, we help over 400,000 people to discover the perfect locations for their parties, meetings, and events. Originally from Finland, we’re now operating in five countries and have ambitious plans to grow way beyond that! 🌍
This role is a unique mix of B2B Sales and Partner Success/Account Management. You’ll be working with our venue providers (think bars, restaurants, mansions, conference centers, hotels…) and help them maximize their visibility and business potential on our platform.
This is a Junior-level role, perfect for someone eager to kickstart their career and do it in a fast-paced startup setting. Our ideal candidate has some experience in a customer-facing or sales role, but that’s not a necessity; with entry-level talents we value attitude and skills way more than a proven track-record. You’ll anyways get hands-on training and work very closely with our Head of Swedish Operations.
Quick note: You must speak fluent Swedish (written & spoken) and be based in Barcelona (or ready to relocate quickly). As we’re an international company, most parts of the recruitment process will be in English (and so will most of your daily life at Venuu), so you need pretty good English skills too.
Sound good? Let’s keep going. 👇
Onboard & manage our venue partners: Guide new venue providers through the setup process, create polished listings, and ensure their profiles stand out. 🏢
Work with the full sales cycle: Prospect new venue partners across Sweden, reach out via email and phone, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
Product demos & training: Educate partners on how Venuu works and how to maximize their sales and marketing potential on the platform.
Performance Optimization: Use data insights to track partner success, schedule meetings to discuss performance, and provide tailored improvement strategies. 📊
Quality assurance: Ensure all partner details are up to date, booking requests are handled properly, and partners are active and engaged. If something isn’t working, you step in to fix it fast.
Upselling & Growth: Identify high-performing partners to build stronger relationships and introduce paid additional services to enhance their success.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Swedish Operations to maintain an active and thriving partner network.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you:
0-2 years of experience in sales, customer success, or any other client-facing role. Internships or call center experience is very relevant too!
Fluent in Swedish (written & spoken) and comfortable using English. No Spanish needed.
Self-organized & proactive: You can manage multiple tasks, structure your day independently, and follow through on your work. 📚
Not afraid to pick up the phone & make connections. Whether it’s cold outreach or follow-ups, you know how to communicate effectively and persuasively. 📞
Comfortable with digital tools: You’ve worked with CRM systems or similar office tools before (or are eager to learn).
Growth mindset: You thrive in an environment where you can develop your skills, take ownership, and make an impact.
Open communicator: You're not afraid to ask questions, voice your opinions constructively, and contribute to a culture of open feedback.
Curious mind: You believe in continuous learning and improvement, and understand that asking questions is a key part of that process.
Nice colleague and a team player: at Venuu we acknowledge that business is a team sport, so here Team comes first. Hope you feel the same way. 💖
Start Date: During April (exact date negotiable)
Contract: Permanent contract with full-time hours (40h/week) and a 3-month trial period
Salary: Entry-level salary of 18,000-24,000€ gross/year (depending on prior experience) with annual reviews & a chance for a yearly raise (come in and show your worth and you will be rewarded) 💼
Location: Barcelona office (hybrid work partially available after completing onboarding)
Comprehensive and well-planned training & mentorship from experienced colleagues
Almost unlimited growth opportunities – the more our small company grows, the more we all benefit from it
A fun, ambitious team culture with regular team-building events, soft drinks in the fridge, monthly afterworks, and shared lunches
