Weā€™re now looking for a (Country) Manager to lead our business operations and growth in the Spanish market. The job is based in Barcelona.

Spain is our fastest-growing market, and has true strategic importance for the company. Launched during Covid, the Spanish market proved promising traction early on and reached profitability last year. Now Spain is set for rapid growth while standing safely and proudly on its own feet.

This is a high-impact leadership role where youā€™ll own Spainā€™s operations and its KPIs, drive revenue growth, and scale both sides of the marketplace ā€“ growing our venue base plus getting more people to book them. The more Spain grows, the more we invest back into it. And you can make it happen.

We want someone with 4+ years of startup and growth experience. Our dream background combines sales/account management, demand gen and leadership. Please note that we'reĀ notĀ looking for a senior professional with 10+ years of experience; we'd like someone who has already made a mark in another growth company, and is now ready to take the next big step with even greater responsibility.

What Youā€™ll Be Doing

  • šŸŽÆĀ Lead the Spanish team:Ā Manage and develop a team that works across Sales, CSM and Marketing.

  • šŸ“ˆĀ Sales & Partner Success:Ā Oversee and support the full sales cycle ā€“ from prospecting and closing deals with new venues to ensuring existing partners are thriving on the platform.

  • šŸ“ŠĀ Marketing:Ā Contribute to and drive demand gen efforts with a strong focus on SEO, and support Performance and Brand marketing activities targeting the Spanish market.

  • šŸ“ˆĀ Revenue growth:Ā Own the revenue and key unit economics of the Spanish market ā€“ pushing for sustainable growth and profitability. Work to improve the numbers that are lacking.

  • šŸ¤Ā Account management:Ā Build and maintain relationships with existing partner accounts and ensure they are getting the best possible results. Upsell premium options when suitable.

  • āš™ļø Core operations:Ā Ensure that demand and supply meet in the marketplace in an optimal fashion, maximise transactions by improving partner performance, and ensure that partners carry out their side of the collaboration (incl. pay their invoices)

  • šŸ“ŠĀ Data & strategy:Ā Use data to track performance, identify opportunities, and develop strategies for scaling the marketplace.

  • šŸ“šĀ Market insights:Ā Deliver insights about the Spanish market; sharing learnings and customer/partner feedback with the COO and Product team.

  • šŸ”„Ā Culture building:Ā Foster ambition, transparency, and passion within your team and the broader company ā€“ acting as a true cultural champion.

Who Weā€™re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in a startup environment ā€“ ideally in a B2B marketplace, SaaS, or eCommerce company.

  • A generalist with the ability to multi-task, comfortably wear many hats, and juggle various responsibilities (often simultaneously).

  • Leadership experience ā€“ youā€™ve led people before and know how to inspire and drive individual and team performance.

  • Solid understanding of Sales operations and Account Management, with hands-on experience. You've picked up the phone often enough to have lost the fear and learnt to stand your ground.

  • Some knowledge of demand gen and SEO ā€“ you donā€™t need to be an expert, but you know the basics and are eager to learn more.

  • Data-driven mindset ā€“ comfortable at analyzing numbers and using data to make decisions.

  • Strategic thinker ā€“ you see the big picture but also know how to roll up your sleeves and execute.

  • Strong Business Development skills ā€“ critical thinking, the ability to form opinions and make decisions, and the courage to execute, innovate, and embrace failure when necessary.

  • Fluent Spanish and English

  • Ambitious, proactive, and outspoken ā€” youā€™re not afraid to push for growth and challenge the status quo.

Whatā€™s on the table for you:

  • Start Date:Ā As soon as possible (but exact date flexible)

  • Contract:Ā Indefinite contract with full-time hours (40h/week) and a 6-month trial period

  • Compensation:Ā Fixed salary depending on your experience (weā€™ll ask for your expectation in the application form). We expect the first yearā€™s salary to be somewhere within the range of 36.000ā‚¬ - 42.000ā‚¬, later rewarding you with annual raises based on results. Come in and show your worth and we'll reward you.

  • Location:Ā Barcelona ā€“ weā€™re an ā€˜office firstā€™ company (we believe itā€™s the best way to build a world-class team and culture), but with hybrid options available after completing training.

  • Leadership role:Ā Join the companyā€™s Leadership team and work closely with the COO and CEO. Your own Spanish team will first be 4 people, later growing together with our success in the market.
