As anĀ Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible forĀ developing the decision and response systems that power real-time hazard detection and alerts. You will work at the intersection ofĀ embedded computing, AI integration, and machine interface design, ensuringĀ performance, reliability, and seamless user experienceĀ on rugged hardware platforms.

Develop and optimizeĀ real-time decision-making and alerting subsystemsĀ for excavator operators.
IntegrateĀ sensor data, AI models, and other software modulesĀ into an efficient embedded system.
Diagnose and resolveĀ hardware-software interactions, resource constraints, and system performance issues.
Conduct rigorousĀ testing, validation, and qualificationĀ of software across varied operating conditions.
EnsureĀ maintainability and reliabilityĀ through structured development, coding standards, and automation.
Background inĀ software, computer, or electrical engineeringĀ (or related fields).
Proficient inĀ C/C++ and/or Rust, with experience developingĀ production-ready embedded systems.
Strong inĀ debugging, profiling, and optimizing edge devicesĀ for responsiveness and resource efficiency.
Comfortable working acrossĀ Linux, RTOS, or bare-metal environments.
Passionate aboutĀ high-integrity embedded systemsĀ with aĀ product-oriented mindset.
Curious, hands-on, and eager to collaborate withĀ cross-functional teamsĀ to solve complex challenges.
Experience withĀ real-time HMIsĀ usingĀ Qt, Flutter, or Slint.
Familiarity withĀ microelectronics, PCB design, or FPGA development.
Strong understanding ofĀ communication protocolsĀ (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth).
Exposure toĀ signal processing, computer vision, or AI on edge devices.
Prior work inĀ automotive, robotics, or industrial automation.
