SKJOLDET is a startup that has created a cybersecurity ecosystem protecting both individuals and businesses against digital and financial fraud. We are on a mission to create a safer digital environment for everyone reducing cybercrime.

Your role?

As a student assistant at SKJOLDET, you don’t need to be a cybersecurity expert. We're much more interested in your marketing and communications skills. Project management, social media, strategic work, idea development, customer contact. It is beneficial if you are creative and a fan of writing eye catching posts about the latest news of SKJOLDET.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Eager to learn more about working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong skills in content creation (photo/video editing, copywriting, design)
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn on a professional level
Skilled in Canva or similar creative tools.
Interest in designing beautiful newsletters
Fluent in English and Danish (written & spoken)
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and bring fresh ideas

Bonus if you have experience or interest in:

We are creating a cybersecurity ecosystem protecting both individuals and businesses against digital and financial fraud. This is made possible through a proactive AI-powered browser extension that alerts users in real-time of fraudulent websites, that collects real-time actionable fraud intelligence for businesses. In just 6 months, SKJOLDET has attracted over 12,000 users, demonstrating significant demand for accessible and intelligent cybersecurity solutions. Phishing has become the largest cybercrime across the globe affecting both individuals and companies. In Denmark, 200,000 people are defrauded annually, costing over 1 billion DKK for both private individuals and financial institutions, as well as the loss of image and business for companies being used in scam. Furthermore, phishing accounts for more than 90% of cybersecurity breaches worldwide, making it an easy point of entry for larger attacks. Digital fraud and phishing have become easier through artificial intelligence and pre-made kits that break down language barriers and exploit humans through social engineering techniques that defraud victims regardless of age and technical knowledge. Social engineering also called “hacking the human” is a crucial part of the criminals’ techniques that lures users into divulge information. Central is influence, persuasion and use of authorities. A scam number takes an average of 45 seconds, where many often do not have time to stop and check for signs of fraud due to a busy everyday life when taking advantage of stressful periods. Likewise, current companies’ fraud detection methods fail to detect fraud proactively, because it is hidden behind multiple links, barriers and special domains making it hard to scrape the internet because websites change constantly. SKJOLDET is an AI- and algorithm-based browser extension that proactively protects individuals and businesses against online fraud, such as phishing attacks, fraudulent webshops, and fake competitions. By detecting and warning users about malicious websites in real-time, even before they are known scams, SKJOLDET enables safe online navigation across all devices and browsers. We focus on continuously improving our AI-driven technology to stay one step ahead of evolving cyber threats. SKJOLDET ensures cybersecurity is simple, proactive, and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, technical expertise, or financial resources.
