About Kiuas

Kiuas was built on an idea to accelerate early-stage startups to become industry leaders one day. Kiuas has since accelerated startup companies with a total of over 300 M+ in funding, such as Swappie, Twice Commerce, Exaum and Woamy. As a Visual Design Intern, you have a unique chance to be the one in charge of how the Kiuas brand will look and feel.

The Role

As the Visual Design Intern, your role includes the following:

• Taking part in planning and deciding the visual elements of the Kiuas brand

• Creating visual designs for Kiuas marketing

  • Such as (you don’t have to possess all the skills):

    • Taking (creating) and editing promotional photos (photographing and editing)

    • Creating illustrations and designing layouts for marketing and the website (graphic design)

After all, the tasks will be designed based on your skills and interests!

About you

This is a rare opportunity for anyone passionate about creating visual elements for a brand. We don’t expect you to master all of these things when you join but rather are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow into the role. We value interest and ambition over experience.

• You have a background in graphic design, be it current studies or personal projects

• You have other relevant experience in creating visual content, such as social media content

• You are interested in working within the startup community and learn more about startups

• You take initiative and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, proactive and unstructured environment.

• You take ownership and are ambitious to develop yourself and your skills.

What to expect?

• This is a paid part-time Intern job with weekly hours of 10-20 hours, allowing studies or other work on the side. The Internship period is from the beginning of June to the end of August. The internship period beginning and end is also negotiable depending on your situation. The hourly pay is 15€/h.

• You’ll have a chance to hone and further develop your skills in creating creative assets of different sorts.

• We work flexibly both remotely and from Otaniemi. We are happy with the hybrid model and it is important that all team members have a chance to work remotely as well.

• We are probably biased, but you get to become a part of a great team. We are a compact team with a strong team spirit.
