 Growth Potential

This role is designed for a versatile experienced sales professional who can hit the ground running in both tactical and strategic capacities. Initially, you’ll be executing on lead generation and closing deals, but as you demonstrate success, you’ll transition into a more strategic role—shaping sales processes, contributing to product-market fit, and helping drive Fortifai’s long-term revenue strategy through hiring. The path to leadership is clear, with opportunities to grow into roles such as Head of Sales, VP Sales, or Chief Sales Officer/Co-founder.

  

Your Role

You will play a dual role:

  • Hunter: Drive revenue growth by generating and managing new business opportunities, primarily targeting mid-market and enterprise CFOs and legal leaders.

  • Strategist: Evolve your role by partnering with leadership to define and refine our sales strategy, providing key insights that shape our go-to-market approach and product evolution and hiring further key sales professionals when the time is right.

 

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Generation & Sales Execution

  • Prospecting & Engagement: Identify and engage CFOs, legal leaders, and other key decision-makers in mid-market and enterprise companies.

  • Outbound Sales: Develop and execute innovative outbound strategies to drive top-of-funnel growth.

  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring high conversion rates and a seamless customer experience.

Account Management & Strategic Growth

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate deep, lasting relationships with customers to maximize lifetime value.

  • Consultative Selling: Partner with CFOs and compliance leaders to navigate ESG challenges, clearly demonstrating Fortifai’s ROI.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to continuously refine messaging, product-market fit, and overall strategy.

Ownership & Impact

  • Target Accountability: Take full ownership of your sales targets and execution while proactively identifying areas for improvement.

  • Strategic Input: Collaborate with leadership to help shape the sales playbook and long-term strategic vision.

  • Market Intelligence: Provide insightful customer feedback to drive product enhancements and more effective market positioning.

 

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5-8 years in B2B SaaS sales, account management, or sales development.

  • Target Market Insight: Experience selling to CFOs, finance leaders, or compliance teams, with an added bonus if you have sustainability or compliance experience.

  • Proven Success: A strong track record of exceeding quota in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Dual Mindset: A “hunter” mentality paired with the ability to think strategically and influence broader sales initiatives.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to simplify complex solutions and articulate clear, compelling value propositions.

  • Startup Spirit: Experience with startup or early-stage SaaS environments is highly valued.
