This 3-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce SEO, working alongside our marketing and development teams to enhance our marketplace's search performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Keyword Research and Analysis:

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research for product categories and individual listings

• Analyze competitor keywords and identify opportunities for improvement

• Assist in developing a keyword strategy for the marketplace

On-Page SEO:

• Help optimize product descriptions, category pages, and blog posts

• Assist in improving meta titles, descriptions, and header tags

• Contribute to creating SEO-friendly URL structures

Content Optimization:

• Assist in developing SEO-friendly content for the marketplace

• Help create and optimize product schemas and rich snippets

• Contribute to the content calendar with SEO-focused ideas

Technical SEO:

• Assist in conducting regular SEO audits using tools like SEMRush

• Help identify and resolve technical SEO issues (e.g., broken links, duplicate content)

• Contribute to improving site speed and mobile optimization

Link Building:

• Assist in identifying link-building opportunities

• Help create outreach strategies for backlink acquisition

• Contribute to internal linking strategy

Analytics and Reporting:

• Help set up and monitor SEO-related KPIs in Google Analytics

• Assist in creating regular SEO performance reports

• Contribute to A/B testing initiatives for SEO improvements

Requirements:

• Native-level Finnish speaker

• Strong interest in SEO

• Basic understanding of marketing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and ability to work in independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous coursework or personal projects related to SEO

• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge

• Familiarity with content management systems

• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and marketplaces

• Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Moz, or Screaming Frog
