Your Role as COO


As our Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for driving growth, efficiency, and execution across all operational areas. You’ll work closely with the CEO to scale the company, optimize workflows, and build a high-performance team. Your key responsibilities will include:

Strategic Execution & Scaling: Develop and implement operational strategies to support rapid growth and ensure seamless platform execution.

Business & Product Development: Improve platform efficiency, work with the product team to optimize user experience, and implement automation where possible.

Leadership & Culture: Build and lead a strong, mission-driven team while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Sales, Marketing & Growth: Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, sales initiatives, and brand positioning.

Operational Efficiency & Performance: Set and track key performance metrics, optimize customer service processes, and ensure top-tier platform reliability.



Who We’re Looking For


We’re seeking a high-energy leader who thrives in uncertainty, enjoys problem-solving, and can execute at speed. The ideal candidate has:

Prior startup experience – You’ve built and scaled a company or have been part of an early-stage startup.

Leadership or business development experience – You know how to drive execution, manage teams, and turn strategy into results.

Marketing or sales experience – You understand customer acquisition, branding, and growth strategies.

A high work ethic – You take ownership, move fast, and get things done.

A passion for our mission – You’re excited about reshaping the future of work for young people.

Youth on Demand is an on-demand task platform that connects busy families and elderly who want help with everyday tasks, with youth (13-25) in need of work experience. We are working with two of the biggest mega trends globally: 1. Unemployment amongst youth 2. The elderly wave & growing demand for help with everyday tasks Our mission is to become the largest employer of youth in Norway, and to make a big social impact on the issues raised as a result of the aging wave. We started by building an app for the B2C plattform, and will also soon launch B2B products for businesses in need of: - Short-term tasks (similar to our B2C on-demand plattform) - Recruiting talented youth longer-term - Gift cards for employees on the B2C plattform All of these services are automated with our AI-powered technology.
