Who Should Apply?

We are seeking ambitious postdoctoral researchers with the motivation to develop advanced solutions in the following domains in:

  • Material and Process Innovation
  • Materials for neuromorphic structures
  • Material gradients for advanced catalysis
  • Advanced nanomaterials for next-generation electronics
  • Materials for quantum applications
  • Energy storage and conversion materials
  • Process development (etching, doping, etc.) for different applications (energy, quantum, optics, etc.)
  • Materials characterization (collaborations with external labs)
  • Surface and interface characterization for advanced devices (Data collection & preprocessing or Data collection & preprocessing)
  • AI-enhanced process optimization for semiconductor fabrication (Data collection & preprocessing or Machine learning model development
  • Advanced Applications
  • Energy Conversion applications, particularly solid-state battery technology
  • Photonic integrated circuits

  • Advanced packaging and bonding

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a PhD degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, or a related field at the time of the deadline for submission and have a maximum of eight years of research experience after completing their PhD. The fellowship follows the MSCA mobility rule, meaning candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Denmark for more than 12 months in the three years immediately before the call deadline.

How to Express Interest

Interested candidates should submit:

  • A short research proposal (1-2 pages) outlining their own project idea within one or more of the listed research topics
  • A CV highlighting relevant expertise and research achievements
  • A motivation letter explaining why they wish to apply for a call with ATLANT 3D
  • At least one reference contact (e.g., a former supervisor or collaborator)
  • Indication of interest from one or a few academic partners/professors to co/supervise the project (excluding those with whom the candidate had a longstanding collaboration, i.e. completed the PhD or postdoc).
