At Lifebonder, we’re on a mission to break social media addiction, fake personas, cyber-bullying, cancel culture, and loneliness by providing a Mesaverse that lives up to the promise of what social media can be: A safe place to facilitate human connections rather than replace them.
We want to make the world a better place by filling a growing need for direct socializing outside social media - connecting people in friendships that are human, profound, and meaningful. LifeBonder makes it easy for people to connect in a deeper reality through shared spaces, values, and goals because our vision is to build social bonds in real life.
LifeBonder is seeking Event Organizers who share our mission of fostering authentic human connections and meaningful experiences. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and experience in event planning, or be interested in organizing events and activities locally.
Note: This is an UNPAID volunteer opportunity, but students are welcome and encouraged to apply!
Plan and organize events that promote real-life connections, including community meetups, networking events, or social gatherings across Scandinavian cities (e.g. Copenhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg, Oslo, Stockholm, etc.)
Promote our mission and encourage participation in community activities.
Collaborate with other event organizers to align efforts and share best practices.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure events are effectively promoted and aligned with overall brand messaging and goals.
Advocate for our mission to build meaningful offline communities and reduce reliance on social media.
A strong belief in our mission to combat loneliness and the negative impact of social media.
Flexibility to work occasionally on evenings and weekends, and travel if needed.
Experience or natural talent in networking, with the ability to "walk the talk" and confidently promote our mission.
Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with one or more of the designated cities and their community dynamics is a plus.
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Danish or any other Scandinavian language is a plus.
Join our team and help us create extraordinary experiences that strengthen human connections and make a meaningful impact!
Candidates can be based in Denmark or any other Scandinavian country.
