Senior Engineering Manager

Superside is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead two key engineering teams focused on enterprise enablement and retention. You’ll be responsible for driving the technical roadmap, scaling enterprise solutions, and fostering a high-performing, knowledge-sharing culture that quickly adapts to customer needs in a rapidly changing space. 


As the leader in AI-powered creative services, Superside delivers cutting-edge solutions to enterprise customers like Amazon, Salesforce, and Meta. Our platform enables seamless remote collaboration, and in this role, you’ll help enhance critical features such as project management, customer-facing integrations, and asset management.


Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this role requires a strategic and people-first approach to leading teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

What you'll be doing:
  • Lead two engineering teams focused on leveraging the Superside platform and integrations to make the Superside service feel like a true extension of our customers' in-house teams. 
  • Deliver predictable and high-quality engineering projects that focus on increasing retention and stickiness in the enterprise segment.
  • Partner with Product Management and Design to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
  • Coach and mentor engineers, fostering career growth and development through structured feedback and individualized plans.
  • Define and maintain the technical roadmap aligned with product and business priorities. 
  • Drive engineering excellence, setting high technical standards and championing best practices.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration, fostering a culture of openness, knowledge sharing, and high performance in a fully remote environment.
  • Optimize engineering processes, implementing agile methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Act as a key stakeholder for security and compliance needs when working with enterprise customers, owning the entire process from initial contact to final implementations in production.

What you'll need to suceed:
  • 6+ years of experience in engineering leadership, including 2+ years at Senior Engineering Manager or Director level.
  • Proven ability to build and scale high-performing engineering teams, with a people-first leadership style.
  • Strong background in technical mentorship, career growth planning, and team development.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, integrations, and security/compliance challenges.
  • Expertise in aligning engineering goals with business objectives, ensuring impactful product development.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to guide discussions, review code, and set technical standards.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, with a track record of improving engineering workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of leading internal and customer-facing technical discussions. Comfortable explaining complex technical concepts and business priorities to anyone in the organization, including stakeholders at the executive level. 
  • Experience with server-side Python or JVM technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with AI engineering and running LLM-based pipelines in production is a plus.
