At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste. Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste!
As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.
We’re growing fast, with our community of 111 million users in 19 countries saving more than 410 million meals from going to waste - this is incredible, but there is so much more we want to achieve!
That means we’re looking for talented people with diverse skills and backgrounds to add to our growing team. That is where you come in: we’re looking for a Key Account Operation Specialist to join our team, with offices available in Madrid and Barcelona.
Your mission:
The Spanish Key account team holds responsibility for acquiring and managing the most important Retail brands in the country. New market trends lead to new special development projects like Donations.
As a KA operation specialist you will support the team in the Donation project by contacting Social Charities, training stores and executing special actions that will ensure the success of the project.
You will also be part of the operations team, helping Key Account Managers to improve store performance via calling or emailing. You can expect to work directly with these stores, building relationships with store managers and their staff, helping them to maximise the partnership with Too Good To Go and rescue as much food from going to waste as possible.
You will be playing a significant role in our growth and evolution in providing better than ever support and service to our food waste-fighting partners.
Your Role:
Reporting to the team lead you will be working on building our Chartiy Network and giving support to a portfolio of our most prominent brands within the grocery business segment. Beyond these tasks responsibilities will include supporting our upselling strategies, quarterly business reviews and market research.
This is an entry-level role and you will work in a hands-on, front-line capacity, ensuring our special project and key partner stores have everything they need to succeed.
We need:
As this role is entry-level we are not looking for any specific experience, however we are keen for you to demonstrate why you are well-suited to this role - whether that’s from your studies, volunteering work, your personal life or any professional experience. This is what we’re looking for:
