YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As the Sustainability Controller you will report to our Head of Sustainability and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive the development and implementation of our global sustainability reporting, ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards, and continue to build the Voi brand sustainability content. This will include: 

• Data collection: Advising and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to collect and ensure quality of data related to sustainability metrics, e.g., carbon emissions, energy consumption, waste management and water usage
• Process & Governance: Evaluating and implementing sustainability data management systems and processes for collection and quality assurance of data
• Reporting & Data Analysis: Developing sustainability performance reports and data submissions for internal and external stakeholders ensuring transparency, traceability, accountability and compliance with regulations, e.g. CSRD, CBAM and the EU taxonomy
• Cross-functional collaboration: Advising and working closely with the Head of Sustainability and financial accounting team to navigate changes in sustainability related regulations, assess risk associated with the sustainability goals, optimise resource use to reduce costs and environmental impact, and drive progress towards achieving key sustainability objectives and goals

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We’re looking for a thorough and solution oriented sustainability professional, with the ability to manage and sanity check large data sets, and collaborate efficiently with diverse stakeholders. Apart from being fluent in English, self-sufficient and goal-oriented, we believe the right person has:

• B.Sc. in Engineering or Business, preferably with sustainability specialisation
• 3-5 years of experience of sustainability-, CSR or ESG controlling/reporting
• Experience from creating annual sustainability reports in compliance with industry standards (eg. GRI, CSRD) or responsibility for environmental management system e.g., ISO 14001
• Experience from managing data collection and projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with sustainable procurement and audits of external suppliers is a merit
• Experience from working with large data sets and data bases, experience using SQL and python is a merit
