Let’s briefly introduce ourselves.
We are Too Good To Go, a certified and proud B-corp with a clear mission: to inspire and motivate everyone to take action against food waste 🌍. We were founded in 2015 in Denmark and are currently active in 19 countries. In 2018, the Too Good To Go journey began in the Netherlands, and we’ve since grown into a team of over 70 Food Heroes. In 2024, we were even named the most inspiring organization in the Netherlands for the fifth consecutive year! We were also included in TIME’s list of the 100 most influential companies in 2022!
In the Netherlands, together with our 4 million app users and thousands of partners, we have saved over 25 million meals from the bin (globally, the number has already surpassed 340 million) – this equals avoiding 685,000 tons of CO2! We’re proud of that, but it’s just the beginning. To increase our impact in the Dutch market, we are looking for ambitious sales talents who are ready to bring new partners to our mission.
Your Mission
You’re passionate about tackling food waste and building new connections. You can’t wait to convince as many new business owners (cafés, bakeries, specialty stores, takeaways, etc.) in the food industry to join Too Good To Go. You’ll do this by initiating contact with entrepreneurs primarily by phone, but occasionally also via email. You’ll introduce Too Good To Go, demonstrate how easy our app is to use for offering surplus food, and convince business owners to use our platform to reduce their food waste. You’ll be juggling multiple tasks as, besides cold calling, you’ll also receive warm leads that need to be prioritized and acted on immediately. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for handling administrative tasks throughout the process.
