Community Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)

Salary Competitive

Landfolk is looking for a passionate and driven Community Manager to join our team full-time during a maternity leave. If you thrive in a role with both operational and creative tasks, love building and strengthening communities, and are excited by the challenge of scaling community activities beyond Denmark, we’d love to hear from you!

The beating heart of Landfolk is our brand and community. We are building a premium, curated holiday home experience for hosts, guests, and service partners through our three-sided marketplace. We are now looking for an engaged and proactive Community Manager to support and grow our host community locally and internationally.

What will you be doing?

As a Community Manager, you’ll work closely with our hosts and contribute to both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives, including scaling community-building activities outside Denmark. Your tasks will be varied, giving you the opportunity to apply both structure and creativity to the role.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Scaling community initiatives: Develop and execute scalable concepts to grow and strengthen our host community across Europe, ensuring a cohesive and consistent experience for all hosts.

  • Event and workshop planning: Plan, coordinate, and execute both online and in-person events, ensuring memorable experiences for hosts in Denmark and internationally.

  • Relationship building: Serve as the primary point of contact for our hosts, strengthening relationships and ensuring their needs are met.

  • Copywriting: Create engaging host emails, invitations, and automated messages with a creative and empathetic tone, in line with Landfolk’s tone of voice.

  • Ongoing practical tasks: Manage logistical support for events and community activities, including preparing materials and coordinating shipments.

Who are we looking for?

You are...

  • Experienced in scaling community-building activities and tailoring them to different cultural contexts.

  • Skilled at building and nurturing relationships with a strong sense of empathy.

  • Flexible and enjoy variety in your day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

  • A strong communicator with excellent copywriting skills.

  • Comfortable balancing creative and operational responsibilities.

  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive on bringing structure to your assignments.

  • A team player who can also take initiative and work independently.

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian and/or French is a big plus.

What we offer:

A chance to join a small, passionate team where you’ll take on responsibility from day one and make a meaningful impact on our host community. You will have plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your skills while working closely with experienced colleagues from across the company.

Here’s what you can expect with us:

  • Be part of a skilled and collaborative team with experience from platforms like Airbnb, covering technical, business, design, and communication expertise.

  • A flexible workplace with a positive, supportive work environment.

  • Great perks at our beautifully designed office in Aarhus, including a delicious lunch program, social events, snacks, and trips to holiday homes.

  • A culture that values balance between work and personal life.

Why choose Landfolk?

Landfolk was established in 2021 by seven co-founders, including seasoned digital entrepreneurs specializing in marketplaces (e.g., Gaest and Airbnb). Today, we employ a team of approximately 55 people and are headquartered in Aarhus. With solid investors like EIFO, Heartland, and SEED Capital, we’re growing internationally, and are now in six markets, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Italy and France.

Becoming part of Landfolk means playing an important role in a startup with high ambitions, where everyone works hard and has fun at the same time. You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and a strong sense of purpose.

Working at
Landfolk

Finde lidt stilhed.
