Software Developer, Frontend or Full Stack (preferred)

Your Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Developer to help shape our product and fill gaps in areas like frontend UI/UX, DevOps, GIS raster editing.  We know this is broad, so even if you don’t cover all these areas, but you are still excited about our mission, don’t hesitate to get in touch. You'll work closely with our CTO to develop and enhance our application, leveraging existing and emerging technologies that transform complex data into actionable insights for our clients.

 

Areas we see you contributing to:

Software Development:

  • Contribute to our single-page application (SPA), enhancing UI/UX and adding functionality.

  • Assist with DevOps tasks to improve CI/CD pipelines and optimize our Azure-based infrastructure.

  • Our technology stack includes SolidJS, TypeScript, .NET, C, and Azure services like Web App, Azure Batch, and Azure AD B2C.

GIS Development:

  • Implement visualization features using tools like OpenLayers, focusing on raster visualization in 2D and 3D.

  • Research and integrate high-quality Digital Elevation Models (DEM), land use, and other geospatial datasets for Sweden, Europe, and globally.

  • Optimise raster data storage and serving for efficient client-side visualisation.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the CTO to align on backend APIs and overall system design.

  • Engage with communities and partners to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

  • Visualization Skills: Experienced with tools like OpenLayers or similar for geospatial and elevation data.
