Tech Lead Opportunity: Travel eCommerce SaaS

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join us on our journey to continuously enhance our platform. You will take the technical ownership of the development of the platform - adding new integrations to external systems, new functionality, refactoring technical debt, optimize performance and doing review and guidance of colleagues.

Your primary focus will be on the back-end of the platform - including API:s, integrations and management tools. The platform uses extensively Rest API:s that serves front-ends and the administration console and integrations are running as external Azure functions.


Your Role:

  • Technical Ownership: Develop new features, optimize performance, refactor legacy code, and integrate external systems.

  • Back-End Focus: Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and management tools using REST APIs and Azure functions.

  • High Standards: Deliver clean, testable, and efficient code.


Commitment: The job can be a part-time arrangement, e.g. between 10 - 20 hours per week, depending on the need. Freelancer or contract arrangement preferred. Equity or options can be negotiated, but requires a proven track-record of working with the team.


Your Expertise:

  • Core Skills: Expert in Microsoft C#, REST APIs, Azure, Cosmos DB, data/AI technologies (SQL, NoSQL, machine learning).

  • Expert in time-based services: Deep understanding of time-based services and time zone complexities.

  • Scalable Architectures: Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and microservices.

  • Dev Practices: Proficient in Azure DevOps and CI/CD.


Qualifications:

  • +10 years experience of core technologies (required)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (required).

  • Microsoft technology certifications (required).

  • Proven experience with complex multi-tenant platform that uses time units and timezones

  • Strong remote collaboration skills (Microsoft Teams).

  • Passionate about emerging technologies and cloud solutions.

  • Good patience and a systematic approach to solve issues and technical debt
