We are seeking a detail-oriented Talent Acquisition and People Ops Specialist to join our team (when you join, pick your own title!). This role is crucial in supporting our talent acquisition efforts (primary) and broader People functions (secondary). We've recruited roughly 50 full-time employees, freelancers, and interns in the last 12 months and will likely recruit another 50 in the next 6-12 months.
The ideal candidate has some experience in talent acquisition, along with a solid interest in People Ops practices and staff policies. You will play a key role in attracting top talent to our organization while ensuring a positive People experience for our current employees. You'll be the first HR hire so you get to develop the function from scratch.
AIContentfy is a tech-enabled service business that helps companies rank on Google using AI-assisted content and SEO. We're a team of 50 people, helping customers such as Laatukoru, SSH, Talentbee, and many more. Our plan is to grow to around 300 people in 3 years so People Operations will have a strong role in the company.

Talent Acquisition:
Manage the full recruitment cycle for various roles, from job posting to candidate onboarding.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a strong talent pipeline for current and future needs.
Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status updates.
Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and job boards to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
People Ops:
Assist with onboarding new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring completion of necessary documentation.
Implement and maintain People policies and procedures.
Provide guidance to employees on People-related matters, such as benefits, leave policies, and employee relations issues.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of People initiatives, such as performance management, training programs, and employee engagement activities.
Support payroll and benefits administration as needed.
Participate in People projects aimed at improving company culture and employee satisfaction.
Develop company values together with the founder as a foundation for hiring and rewarding.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR roles.
Good understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
Finnish employment law knowledge is preferred but not required immediately
